FeedWii Play Family
The Calvert Library has recently held some family gaming nights with a Wii. From the flickr photoset it looks like everyone had a great time.
(On a related note, if your library has a flickr account be sure to fill in your profile and include things like where you're located and a link back to the library's Web site. I would have loved to link back to the library's site in this post but I didn't want to guess as to which one Google listed was the right one.)

We had a BLAST with the library's Wii over the Thanksgiving holiday. My boss let me take it home, and even The Spouse, who never plays video games, got into it, especially the baseball game. The library has taken it to retirement homes and the residents have had a ball with it! It's been a HUGE success among that population. One of the women only wanted to play if she could box one of the male residents! They hadn't taken the nunchucks with them, so she couldn't box, but they'll be going back in a week, and she's delighted. So, so funny!
