Deb sent me this one along with the comment "Maybe this sends the wrong message, I don't know, but it sure has merit." I leave it up to you. All comments appreciated.

I think this is perfectly reasonable. I am (a) an Alien (b) White (c) Male and worked in another country for 25 years as a librarian. What do I find here? You guessed.

This is one of many articles that have been appearing for months in blogs and in print. Lack of library jobs is being reported nationwide. Look at the Colorado State Library Jobline webpage. It averages 1 fulltime professional reference librarian job per month and most require multiple years of experience. The job market is terrible.

The library job market is pretty good in the upper midwest, if you don't need to make a lot of money.
